Marriage Visas in the Philippines

13A Permanent Resident Visas are issued to foreigners who are legally married to Filipino citizens. This enables the foreigner applicant to establish permanent residence in the country.

Requirements in Obtaining a Marriage Visa:
Listed below are the requirements in obtaining a Marriage Visa:

  • Notarized letter of application from the Filipino spouse
  • Duly accomplished General Application Form (must be notarized)
  • NSO copy of the Filipino spouse's birth certificate
  • NSO copy of the Marriage Contract (if married in the Philippines), or Marriage Contract authenticated by the Philippine Embassy/Consulate (if married abroad)
  • Clearance Certificate from the Bureau of Immigration
  • Photocopy of foreign spouse's passport with date of arrival and authorized period of stay
